We are proud to present the 14th edition of our festival that will take place from the 16th to the 19th of August 2012. Our main theme this year is «Figure de proue».
Our festival is :
A weekend of activities aimed at protecting our maritime heritage by celebrating the wonders and secrets of the seas and waterways.
More than ten years of fun and song in the heart of Saint-Jean Port Joli on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River
Performances that bring to life our fabulous maritime history
Conferences enthralling you with tales of the seas
Workshops to learn the history of sea shanties and traditional maritime dances
Documentaries and films
Maritime dictation to learn nautical terms and an essay competition on the subject of the theme of the festival
A supper show, mussels and fries followed by traditional dancing

The Happy Castaways A family activity that consists of building, with recyclable materials that are partially supplied, a small craft. This sailing , rowing vessel then participates in a friendly race in the marina, much to the enjoyment of the crowds gathered along the breakwater and on the shore. For those who enjoy a challenge and a good laugh! |

Regata Our traditional Eustache Anctil Regata will take place at the marina. If you arrive an hour and a half before the departure time, you might be able to crew on one of the sailboats. |

Saturday and Sunday morning you can you can go out on the river on a sailing rowing vessel( you will be one of the crew) restaured by the Corporation des Jeunes Marins du Cote-du-Sud. |
